It’s been a while since I collected remixes for “Zeitreise Remixed” release, my second self-released remix EP. But today I can finally announce that the EP just has been released and is now available for free over at my Bandcamp site. The original track “Zeitreise” was featured in the documentary score of “Neun Monate Winter” (Nine Months Winter) and has been composed back in 2009 when Field Rotation was more focused on downtempo ambient music. The EP features seven remixes. Some of them have been handpicked from a proper collection of remix submissions during a contest that was open for a month and for everyone. Some have been contributed due to a personal invitation. The EP features remixes by Quivion, The Frozen Vaults, Ma.Ter, Leonardo Rosado, y0t0, WhoIsIR and Lee Chapman. A quick update to those that wait for the release of ‘Paraphrases’ as Christoph Berg:

We finally can announce the official release date of my debut album ‘Paraphrases’ - it will be out November 30th!

The 250 run limited edition 180gm vinyl is packaged inside heavy gatefold four panel sleeves, wrapped within an A1 double-sided poster. The package also includes a double sided 12 x 12 hand numbered print along with a hand numbered embossed letter-pressed CD with fold-out booklet featuring striking photography by Aela Labbe. Extras as always will include scent, card and download code containing audio and PDFs.

Pre-orders start this weekend and can be placed by those that subscribe to the Facture mailing list.
